Skywatch Friday and the Birthday Boy!
This isn't a great photo as I only had my old phone camera with me and the big Tesco light was in the way, but it really looked like a head with flowing hair!
More from Burghead 29th Jan.
Muuuuuum, can I have my pressies now??
Pig ears....nom nom!
Gabbi checks the table for any more....and this is what's left of the pack!
Handsome Birthday Boy!
Sniff sniff.....
We can hear it.....
We can smell it....
Oooh, we can see it!
Mmmm, we can taste it..... (Mum: not recommended!)
Aaahh, we can feel it! (Mum: also, not recommended, this is the North Sea!!)
Yippee....what a great birthday!

True Colours Thursday: Pink. Birthday Boy, an Award and a River Walk

First is a collection of leads:
Rosie and Gabbi's showleads, these are hand plaited using Kangaroo hide which goes lovely and soft but is very strong, they also have beads on them which spell their names. They are each three shades of pink, Gabbi's is a shade lighter. Gabbi chewed hers up at a show and now has a tan & white one, don't know why I keep the pink one, it is useless now! Rosie and Gabbi's puppy leads which i've kept. Rosie and Gabbi's current leads which are dirty! Gabbi's is the white & pink one and Rosie's is chocolate & pink. Finally a rope slip lead which I use when we're going to shows as it's easier to put on and remove, Gabbi's one is pink.

Next, alot of our show stuff is pink: The pink smelly things in the car which keep the wet-dog niff at bay! The pocket in Mum's pink body-warmer from which all sorts of tasty treats magically appear, we stand very still and good when she puts her hand in there! The toilet bag where all our grooming stuff goes, with big pink hearts on it. A tin of paw wax incase of slippery floors.
Scissors for tidying up our tails, they have pink handles. The rucksack for carrying all our show gear. The pink rosette Snoop won for 6th Hound at Keith Country Show many moons ago.
Two pink show catalogues which Mum keeps as they relate to the rosettes below.
The pink folder where all our documents and certificates are kept.
The pink vetbed which goes in Rosie & Gabbi's crate, look how Alfie claims it for his own!
A selection of stuffies which sometimes come with us....Rosie has kindly removed their faces, to protect their identities I assume!
Our food is pink too! Yummy chicken carcasses.....well we need to eat when we're working!
Some of Alfie's rosettes have pink on them, the green & pink one was from the first time he won Best of Breed, he was also 4th in the Hound Group, the two blue & pink ones were from the time he won the Hound Group, Mum was shaking during the Best in Show line-up!
The all important wet wipes come in a pink packet.
The rosette Alfie won on Saturday, also pink.
Mum's pink driving gloves to keep her fingers warm driving through the hills! See two posts ago....Mum usually wears a pink jumper!
So there you have it, some of our PINK stuff!
Those sweet Bassets, Martha and Bailey have given us this lovely award, thanks dear girls!
Edit: the award was the cute ladybird one that unfortunately linked to a nasty adult site so subsequently has been removed, it was the thought that counted though :o)
Gabbi forgot she hates the water!
The wanderer returns!
Jana is as bouncy as ever.....then she spies some geese!
I didn't manage to get any Papillon photos but I can reveal that Teasel got her knickers in a twist! I think Louis is in the video below. (Louis won Best Veteran in Show for the 2nd year running at Bon-Accord on Saturday, well done boyo!)
Lastly....Gabbi wasn't into playing the dangly face game yesterday but I got one today :o)
