Beachy Beach :o)

Woohoo....we've had some lovely weather (while the rest of the UK has been plagued with gales and flood warnings) and we have been to the beach again....alot!

Findhorn....

....to see the seals...arf-arf...

....and Roseisle of course!

Mother was feeling brave and we got off lead for a while!

video

We are used to seeing Nimrods and the occasional Eurofighter but we've had some unusual aerial visitors recently.....if you're interested....this is a Hercules. Also spotted (but not snapped as they were almost in space!) were a couple of Harriers among other things.

Heard there's more coming next week so we'll probably walk near the runway :o)

We're still struggling to keep up as you may have noticed....fighting a losing battle I think!

Whizz-bang.....Thank-you Ma'am

Here are the slackers again! We've been busy getting lovely Autumn walkies....
....romping through leaves....
....another modelling assignment....
....hunting bunnies....
....enjoying our park....
....sniffing the fresh air....and taking in the lovely Autumn colours :D
But yesterday....Snoop went to the park in the morning with Mum....
....and look what they found....slap-bang in the middle of the grass.....can you see the huge stuffies?
In the afternoon we went to Roseisle beach, it was so calm and beautiful.
The sea looked like blue milk! We snoofed in the woods for a while.
Then in the evening.....pretty loud pretty sky :o)
Mother of course took a video of possibly the crappiest one of the whole display!

Awards, Hot Dates and Where's Mason D?!

Hello blog buddies! Today is the last catchy-uppy post with random walkies pictures at the end. But first, we were given these awards literally months ago....when we were still using the library!! The first is from those cute little Munchkins who delight us with their funny memoirs :o) It's the Awesome Pawsome Award featuring Daisy Dog.....thanks Bentley & Lexus!

Next up it's the Class Act Award, also featuring Daisy Dog (wow, she's popular huh?!) This one was given to us by Frappie, Mocha, Sugar & co. over at Piappies World......thanks tinies!

Both awards were made by the Purple Hatter and the only rule is that you give him a shout out on your blog......done! I think they've both probably done the rounds by now but if you want them, help yourself!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, what else have we been getting up to?? Well......we all managed to sneak away to see our honey-bunnies while Mum wasn't watching.....
Rosie caught up with her sweetie Petey on his island......errm, I hope you're not fighting over that tennis ball guys? Play nice!
And then they were snapped by the pupperazzi wearing his n hers Loius Vuitton!
Snoop lounged by Kira's pool but didn't get his paws wet :D
Gabbi got a whiskery snog from her Jakey....and it made her shrink! (someone needs to hone her PS skills!)
And Alfie caught up with Mason Dixie at her lake.....but he hasn't seen or heard from her since :o(
Does anyone know......where in the world is Mason Dixie??? We miss her and hope that she and her lovely Mom and the BF are ok and just having a rest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So here are the last of the random walkies photos. The first batch are from the park and hill across the road and the beach ones were taken the other day at a FREEZING Nairn Beach!

We looked for Petey in here, it's like the one he made on his island for he and Rosie....but this one was so big we couldn't even find the front door. We left a message though :o)

Random Walkies Photos, Part 2 (with added Pointer goodness :o))

So, where we off to in this catchy-uppy post then Mum?

Super Mario Land??

Ooooh, goody....it's Roseisle!

But wait.....who's this peeping over the edge of the dune?

Can you guess?

Nope....it's NOT Gabbi on steroids.....it's our old friend Chester!

Hi Chezzy! Chester has been on our blog a few times as we sometimes meet when we walk at Roseisle and then our Mums start chattering. But if you search only one post comes up :o(

Not many words for the rest of the post.....just lots more photos....yep, Mrs Snap-Happy returns and is too lazy to sort the good pics from the bad so she's posted the lot, mostly of us but a few random fungus and scenery shots thrown in.....sorry!

Bwaaaahahahahaaa.......good one Gabbi!

SH*T.....busted! I know....if I don't look at her then she can't see me and i'm not in deep water.....right?

RIGHT??

Y'all Ready For This?

Hello good furries and peeps of Blogland!

Yes, we've been away too long....so what's been keeping us so busy we hear you bark?
You ready? Well, let me tell ya......

We've had lots of "issues"....some PC related (again!), some paint related and some neither.
We've also been zooming around so much it's a bit of a blur....

Let's see..........well, we had some VERY special visitors all the way from Slovenia. Luna's human came to see us!
Luna's is one of the very first blogs we came across when we first started ours way back in September (OMDog, just realised we missed our own Blogaversary....duuh!!) so we were really excited to finally meet Teja......not only is she a fellow blogger.....she's from a whole nuther country AND she has a Beagle (so she loved us!). She had baked us some lovely treats (yummy cookies) and gave our Mum and Dad some really cool gifts, including a book about Slovenia for when we go to visit them (ahem.....you BETTER be taking us M&D! Heyyy, it's nextdoor to Italy so maybe we could see those lovely Golden boys and Maya too!)

She and her BF Ales, his son Lars (cutie-pie) and their friend Nina were touring Scotland for a few days and made time in their busy holiday to come for a walk with us :D

We went to Findhorn Bay, it was a lovely evening and Teja got some beautiful photos......check out her blog to see them! (she really does take lovely pics)

Dad was in charge of the treats.....he's less of a push-over than Mum! We were so excited to have someone to show off to we got the zoomies.....and after Rosie & Gabbi had tied Nina's legs up with their silly long leads Mum finally gave in and let them off to play properly. (and they behaved....OMD!!)

We zoomed.....

.......and played......

....until we were all zorsted! (thanks for that word Ludo!)

Thanks for coming to visit us guys, come back soon....and big juicy slobbers to Luna, if it weren't for her we would never have met!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We've done a couple of dog shows, well, the girls have.....us boys are retired you know!
First it was Roseisle companion show....Gabbi was 3rd Hound. It was a lovely sunny day :o) Mum made the ribbons for the show and you can see them on her rosette blog.
Then Mum and the boy took Gabbi & Rosie all the way down near Stirling for the Scottish Beagle Club show.
This guy almost came to a sticky end as he stood in the middle of the road wondering what the hurry was!
There was a wedding before the show, two fellow Beagle exhibitors were tying the knot there as it's such a beautiful setting and all their friends were there anyway, it was really lovely.
No ribbons to take home....Gabbi came 4th in her class but we had a lovely day, catching up with friends we haven't seen for ages :D
Beautiful Alva
Mother is now wishing she'd a) smiled....or....b) used the crop tool....or.....c) DIETED!
The Winners
We had arranged to go and see Marvin and his J before coming home but the show went on a bit too long so sadly it didn't happen.....probably because of the hilarity involved in getting this shot, what a hoot! (If you click on the SBC link above you'll see a much better version as Photo of the Month!)
Such a shame, we were so looking forward to it.....nevermind, next time Jeannie! (and sorry!!) We did manage a detour to Edinburgh for IKEA though, and the girls got to share a portion of meatballs for being so good.......grr, didn't save any for the boys!
This is how the sky looked out of our kitchen window the night before the show (Friday....see, I was still sort of taking part in SWF!)
We've had some beautiful weather too so we've managed some lovely walks at the beach and park.....but this post has already taken hours so we'll do a separate post for the walks.......and you'll get to meet this handsome fella!
So until next time folks.......
SLOBBERS!!!!
Findhorn Vids
We weren't going to post again until all our visiting was done but Mother has been at it with the camera again, so here a few videos that are perfect for Sunday Scenery, it's about time we started our memes again! The first two are from a few nights ago at Findhorn Bay, the seals were calling but not sure if you can hear.
video video
And the last one was from Friday evening's walk along Findhorn's north shore, the beach was filled with happy dogs whose humans were just taking in the gorgeous lightshow that is a Moray Firth sunset, there was a seal playing in the sea too....nosey critters but so cool!
video
We have a couple of awards, thanks to the Munchkins and Piappies....we haven't forgotten and we'll put them in our next post.
