We don't usually post more than once a day but we have a scoop here!
Rumours are rife on the sleb dog circuit that Rosie may have found true love. After seeing her on the cover of Vogue magazine, eligible New York bachelor Petey the Cairn Terrier has been wooing our girl with a barrage of saucy comments. Petey of the Grant clan, who celebrates his Birthday today has even declared his feelings for the whole world to read on his blog!
Petey has been romantically linked to several high profile ladies, most recently a Lakeland Terrier named Lacie, he was seen cavorting with her in Paris as recently as last week. Lacie has a bit of a reputation as a bad-ass and Rosie went into hiding when she heard this, especially after encountering her in the Hound ring when she judged at MangoMinster! Apparently Lacie caused havoc behind the scenes too, hissy fits and shrieking were a regularity in her luxury trailer, she even caused the entire show to run a day late! Read about that here.
Rosie was having mixed thoughts about romancing this little Cairn with his womanising ways and colourful past, she has however come round to the idea and has spent the last couple of days trying to negotiate several magazine deals.....OK-9 magazine and Canine Bride Monthly have both been mentioned, she also plans to visit nearby Pluscarden Abbey in the next couple of weeks, we have inside information that Petey has a special connection with the Abbey....his grandmother was born in the Priory Lodge there some 85 years ago, however, reports of an imminent engagement are unconfirmed and Rosie is not yet sporting a diamond encrusted collar. Reports ARE coming in that Petey has been fitted for a new kilt and there has been wailing in the West Village as he had his first bagpipe lesson. Can the Grant clan merge with the Stewart clan? It looks as though Petey has shown some commitment....he's already donning some Royal Stewart tartan and he has started to cultivate some thistles, which are the Stewart badge....but only time will tell!
Though Petey is being fairly open about all this, even putting photos of thinly disguised Rosie on his blog, others are not so forthcoming....Petey's friend, London-based Eric, who double-dated with Petey and Lacie in Paris, was unavailable for comment......Lacie is not answering her phone and our sources tell us that loud sobbing with the occasional shriek is all that can be heard from her apartment! The paps are out in force....oh, the scandal!
As for us lot......
....Snoop remains blissfully unaware of everything apart from the opening and closing of the fridge door....
....Alfie is keeping his ears open and his mouth shut....
....if anyone's going to let her tongue waggle, it's Gabbi....
....but for now....only the Rose knows.
