Skywatch Friday

Some of this week's skies....the last three of a sunrise taken in Edinburgh, the rest sunsets at Burghead.

Above, one of my favourite collages so far....and below, I think this is my favourite sky shot ever, so dramatic!

These next ones were taken on our walk yesterday at Burghead, the two on the left of the collage were me trying to show how white the hills across the Firth are....but of course my camera is not good enough to pick up the detail!

Our Dad came with us today, he was in charge of the liver cake....and BOY did we have to work for it!! (please disregard Dad's grotty work trousers!)

Ahem.....apologies are in order....we have just done an orange themed post and left someone out....Jana the Vizsla is our very good friend who we sometimes walk with....

....and the very dashing and funny Dennis the Vizsla Dog, both clearly orange! (hope you don't mind us pinching your profile pic, Dennis!)

Sorreeee, haha ok bye :o)

Between your sky photos and the beagles, I am in awe! You have to post to Skywatch Friday!!

The other men in my life are my nephew dogs that belong to my sister.

Your photos are breathtaking.

I'm a goof - you DID post to skywatch. I didn't notice their button at the top until after I commented.

That's a lot of collages ... but well done. And I learned something: I should make my collages higher resolution so when one clicks on them the images come out bigger like yours. Hats off to a post well done!

Oh my gracious, the picture of the water with the sun shining across in gold is absolutely stunning!

The pups look like they had a grand time indeed!

Happy DOT's to your gang from Honey Dew and Sampson.

Fantastic skywatch pictures! The beagles are looking pretty good too. We tried the liver cake and thought it was great although we had to use the oven not microwave!
Works out loads cheaper than dog treats too so thanks for that.
We will try it with bananas next. Have a great weekend up there in glorious Moray.

Those sky photos are gorgeous. Though my paws got cold just looking at you four playing in the surf. I love to go to the beach when we visit Granny in South Carolina but a wintry Scottish sea looks awfully chilly to me!

I like your favourite sky shot too. Was that snow coming?
How nice to see the two red-heads appearing today!

the sky is certainly the prettiest when closest to the horizon, isn't it? and all the doggies appear to be oblivious, yet super happy anyway.
