Things House Beagles Must Try To Remember....
I will not do unmentionable things to my stuffies when we have company.
I will not play tug-of-war with Dad's underwear when he's on the toilet.
The bin man is NOT stealing our stuff.
I do not need to suddenly stand straight up when I'm lying under the coffee table.
I will not roll my toys behind the fridge.
I must shake the muddy rainwater out of my fur BEFORE entering the house.
I will not eat the cats' food, before or after they eat it.
I will stop trying to find the few remaining pieces of clean carpet in the house when I am about to throw up. I will also stop throwing up behind doors.
I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc.
I will not lick my human's face after eating animal poop.
Cat litter is not food.
I will not eat any more socks and then redeposit them in the garden or park after processing.
The nappy bucket is not my cookie jar.
I will not wake Mum up by sticking my cold, wet nose up her bottom end.
I will not chew my human's toothbrush and not tell them.
I will not chew crayons or pens, especially not the red ones, or my people will think I am haemorrhaging.
When in the car, I will not insist on having the window rolled down when it's raining outside.
We do not have a doorbell. I will not bark each time I hear one on TV. Neither do we have a police car, a lion or Alan Carr.
I will not steal my Mum's underwear and dance all over the garden with it.
The sofa is not a face towel. Neither are Mum & Dad's laps.
My head does not belong in the fridge. Or the dishwasher.
I will not bite the officer's hand when he reaches in for Mum's driver's license and car registration.
Stealing Ex-Lax from the medicine cabinet is not big and it's not clever.

Lots of cool snooters there - and you think we have extra ears! Now I wonder if your mum knows each and every snooter - I expect she does. Looked like a lovely walk again, if only we could get our mum to manage the two of us plus the camera. We only manage the camera out on walks at weekends!!!

What?!?!?! No beach?!?!?!?! But treehopping (that's what Biggles does, he hops from tree to tree on three legs because one of the hindlegs is always up) is also fun!

Love all those "snooters". Would be really funny to insert one human nose in the mix and ask us to try to find it - kind of like a "Where's Waldo" of sorts.

Ahhh, Rosie....
A few summers ago, Mommy sent me out to the country with a company called Blue Sky Dogs. I got to run around all day off leash (except for the time I wouldn't come when called and had to have a time out on the leash) and climb over rock beds and sniff in creeks. It was awesome. And Mommy paid $85 for me to go.
And it looks like what you four get to do EVERY day! Although you get to go to even prettier places.
Some days it's no fun to be a city dog.
