Camera Critters, Baby Dane and Woolly Bloomers

This....is Hattie! Isn't she just so cute?

She is a Brindle Great Dane puppy, these were taken last Saturday when she was 12 weeks old....she's already twice the size of Rosie & Gabbi!

She was bred by friends Joanne and Mark, Annie's brother Walter is her Dad and Nana is her Mum...she comes to our training class now :o) You can see more photos of her and her family on their blog.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Petey, in association with Caninescope and MGM pictures, is making a furry version of the classic tale Brigadoon.

With Rosie and Petey in the leading roles 'BEAGADOON' promises to be a Blog Office smash. Auditions for all other roles and of course behind the scenes jobs are taking place this weekend so hop on over to Petey's blog if you fancy your chances in Hollywood!
*************************************

After Rosie's unfortunate photo yesterday, Aunt Bailey, like any good and wise(ish)auntie, decided to send Rosie a pair of Martha's Secret woollen bloomers just like she wears...thanks Auntie! (they do itch a bit though!)

While escorting Rosie to Bermuda last weekend for her first date with Petey Wise(ish) Aunt Bailey had one too many Dark 'n' Stormys and hooked up with Manhattan's most eligible Bloodhound, Wimsey.....she taught him how to do the Highland Fling....and managed to 'misplace' her own bloomers in the process. Wimsey, who found them in his bag when he unpacked, asked Petey if he would be kind enough to return them to her....freshly laundered of course....snap him up quick Auntie, he'll even wash your smalls! (I use the word smalls lightly)

:o):o):o):o):o):o):o):o):o):o):o):o)

Today Mum borrowed our Nanny's camera to take some pictures of us, these are the best of the bunch, we were made to sit.......... *sigh*..............

Even though Alfie and Rosie were very rooood and stuck their tongues out, we still got to go to the park, yippee!

When we got home....look what we found....

...oh no, it's a hole in the spotty wellies! Mum is distraught, she loves the spotted ones :o(
She does have others though....

These ones bug her *snigger* they are a bit small and have really skinny legs so she can't tuck her jeans in them, mmmm....maybe your legs are just too fat Mum? No? Don't be cheeky, eh??

Then there are the classic greens.....surprisingly uncomfortable, also Liam wears them when he comes for a walk with us (even though they are the ladies' version.... he hasn't noticed the label says "Huntress"....shhhh, don't tell!)

Either way.....the spotty ones will soon be no more!

Goodbye old friends :o)

Oh it is so sad to toss favorite foot gear, huh? H-Mom has a pair of sneakers that are ... uh ... DISGUSTING ... but they are so comfortable and so perfect for the dogpark. She is determined to keep them around as long as possible. A pair of wellies for rainy days are actually a very good idea. Perhaps she will look for a pair.

Our mom cringes at the thought of musicals, but I think she'd like BEAGADOON! How could she not love it?!?!
Ha roo roo roo - I LOVE the bug boots! They "bug" your mom - HA! I have to make sure Ammy sees that; she loves a good pun.
I'm sure glad Aunt Bailey is keeping tabs on Rosie! Those bloomers are a trip!
Play bows,
Zim

What a beautiful, huge puppy. I hope they don't encourage the lap sitting. It could prove dangerous in the future.

Love the buggy wellies.

Oh, no, don't toss your spotted wellies! Just go to your neighborhood tire (tyre??) shop for a few rubber patches and slap them on. They will be black and good as new. . .you can even get some paint and do some new dots!

I always heard you Scots were careful with your $$$!

Kisses,
Stella and her Mum

Loved Hattie - cannot believe she is only 12 weeks!!
Auntie Bailey is a bit upset at her bloomers being flashed all over the internet!
Wimsey was very discreet in returning them to her and of course she was just concerned about Rosie catching cold!
Cant wait for beagledoon - Petey's imagination knows no bounds!!
Loved the multiple beagle pic - one is really never enough!!
love and kisses

Hello everydoggie,

Wow, there's so much to comment on! First off, that enormous Dane puppy! What a cutie - although I once barked my head off at two giant full-grown Danes when we were out for a walk and Mommy just looked down at me and said "Are you insane?" Sometimes I forget I'm a little guy.

The auditions are coming along nicely - I've even rewritten a role to accommodate some of the excellent actors that have submitted screen tests. We need lots of dancers and singers for the chorus, too.

Finally, while you look adorable in your bloomers, my Rosie Posey, perhaps next time we can pick out something a bit more enticing from Martha's Secret!

Your Petey

Despite the good intentions, I will pass on my own pair of bloomers, thank you. I refuse to wear clothing! I prefer myself in the natural state, and so do the boys!

Hattie is HUGE but adorable. Bet that's the very last laps sit she has though.

Now your bloomers Rosie. Did Miss Martha knit them for you from nice botany wool? Knitting is THE in thingy you know in Olde London Towne so wagging to see over the border are keeping up,heee!!!!

Love all the photos but who were you giving the tongue treatment? Any one we know beginning with L????

Mom says knows how your Mom feels over the tragic loss of her wellies. She is emotionally attached to hers. I quite like them too. They lace up the front, pawfect for a sneaky chew.

We didn't have the snow this week, not even a flake....sorry ...

Wiry wags, Eric xxx

yes, sadly, the humans amongst us, get very attached to the wellies, I can vouch for this.

We are going through a bad phase of whether to wear the honorable wellies or the red walking boots.........

don't ask!

Dear Alfie,
It is very honorable of you to come forth to speak to me about our mutual love interest. I will tell you like I told Mason Dixie, us dogs have SO much love to go around that we can handle multiple relationships. (Unlike our 2 leggers who sometime struggle with one). Anyway, I am
very fond of Mason D and being the honorable fella that you are, I believe you will treat Mason D as she should be treated. BUT if I should ever hear that you're doin' her wrong, the mean dog will come out in me and I cannot be held responsible for my actions. Does this seem unreasonable of me? Me thinketh not! So you two go on, have a lovely time together. Mason Dixie is my number one gal
but I have several female friends who will be sure to see that I am not a lonely dawg. Take care and say hi to the rest of the Beagle crew for me.
Woofs and slobbers to my most honorable AlfieDawg.
Pee. Ess. Mom loves the brindle dane; the Martha's secret bloomers are precious, although I'd rather you didn't buy any for Mason D.-and the bugger wellies are very smart, INDEED!

Sorry to hear about the spotted wellies. They are cute. Still, good excuse to go shopping for some other fun and COMFORTABLE wellies ;-) Good luck with that.

That not so great dane yet is toooooo cute.

And your mr linky entry for this CC made me laugh out loud too. What do you have against no 26? (you must have forgotten that you added that to your ABC entry?) Poor CC 26. No visitors at all this week ;-)
I think you owe someone an apology! LOL
