Monochrome Monday

Want to join in the Mono fun? Go to Aileni's blog for Mr Linky and more Mono Maniacs :o)

I posted the colour version of St Leonards Church yesterday but think it also looks great in Black and White, it's such a beautiful church.

These two are of Sueno's Stone just along the road from us, it is an ancient Pictish stone and the largest of its kind in Britain, you can read more about it here.

I love the rich colours of a Beagle, but they look pretty good in black and white too, couldn't resist leaving Snoop's tongue pink....pinched the idea from Amber!

I loved looking up the history of the stone, I spent a bit of time reading about it. Thanks for sharing, I am a bit of a history nut. We just don't have much here in the states.....too new I guess!

It's just so clever being able to keep a bit of colour on a black and white photo!

Nice monos, maybe I'll give it a go sometime.

Nice shots, how did you do that with the pink tongue? (I think the Beaglebunch would love a pig ;-))

A beagle in any other color is still a beagle! And yes, I believe we are all in agreement that the pink tongue is a wiener!
Woofs and black and white(?) slobbers!

lol at Snoop's pink tongue!

Nice mono collage. Your church is beautiful in both colour and B&W.

many apologies for not posting comments to your blog, been rather upset at the passing of Klaus to be honest.

We been blogging a long time, although sadly not the same blog, my J has too much of an itchy finger on the bloomin delete button, but we knew Bogart from way back.

Kinda shook us up. As these things do.

Funny, isn't it, when you have never actually met peeps, or spoken to them, but you feel you know them.

Will try to get back to normal tomorrow, life is so cruel.

Jeannie on behalf of Marvin xx

sorry meant to say your photos were lovely, particularly the b/w one of the stunning church.

my comment was a bit mixed because I commented as Marvin, then signed off as me.

Will try to be a better blogger tomorrow.

Jeannie xx Hug your Hounds as Patience says on her comments, hug your hounds, and hug your family.

feeling very sad tonight, very sad indeed, how fleeting life is, how short the joys, how long the sadness.
