True Colours: Violet

Today's True Colours theme is VIOLET. To play along with this meme visit host, Blue.

Violet was definitely a challenge....all photos have been previously used, some for Purple week....and notice i'm milking the wellies for all they've got!

mmmmmmmmmmmm

Some photos from Roseisle from a couple of days ago that I haven't managed to post yet....

Before....

Funny looking dogs....!

During....Rosie is quite photogenic but difficult to capture on the move....on this day she was a blur!

After....

BOL! Look at that super long tongue!

Hi Guys
It seems all the blogs were struggling with violet - it is a strange sort of colour. We thought the thistles in the picture of Petey were violet although we expect you will tell us they are purple!
We loved the little itsy bitsy spring lambs - enough to make you become vegetarian!
The beach pics - well you know you do torture us with these.
We plan to go to a nice beach at Easter!
Cant wait for Beagadoon - well if we have not been successful in getting a part we will stomp off and never speak to that Director again!!
Have a good day
love

Lambs! Scampi loves his sheep, he wants to go herd them.He thinks I am a sheep. I think he would like to herd you beagles on the beach too! Oh the joys of living with a border collie.

Oh that picture of them all running into the sea is just great LOL

Carolina said...

Oops, sorry, my only excuse is that I cannot see that clearly, the screen is covered in snot, just noticed that they weren't running into the sea, but running on the beach. Whatever! I love their little butts!!!

Rosie girl, you can fly! (Good thing I caught up, fast enough to capture your heart!)

I wish we could all run on the beach together, every time I look at those photos, I get wistful. Then look outside at the concrete all around. Getting off leash at the dog run (A fenced in corner of a parking lot) doesn't seem nearly as appealing.

And those little Spring lambs...so cute! Reminded Mommy of taking the Eurostar from London to Paris years ago and seeing the lambs in the fields. (Oh, now she's going to get all depressed that she has no trips planned.)

Yes indeed, Beagadoon casting is complete! Will post shortly.

xoxo,

Your Petey

We did violet too and well, violet/purple/lavender/magenta - all the same to us - but it is a lot of fun to see everyone's post. We loved seeing yours - reruns are OK in our book.

All woo beagles look mighty happy running and playing there. Looks like a great place to frolic.

You filled this post up with so much news! Love the violets! Lovely collage of soft shades. And the sheep/doggies are such pastoral photos! But the sweet faces of beagles just slays me - how cute they are charging down the beach! I can't wait to hear about "Beagadoon's" casting call! xo Love and Licks,

That tongue photo is hysterical. As for the blur shot, that is a great photo as well. We love them all. And the wellies. Purple/violet, same difference, different day.

What lucky dogs to be able to run on the beach so often. And how lucky you are to have quiet sleepy dogs that have had a good outlet for the energy.

Oh those beach shots are making our woman antsy for spring. Such lovely photos!

By the way, Cinza loves to have her belly rubbed and kissed. The more the better.

Thank you for the Sisterhood award!
