SkyWatch Friday & Post #193....

Some of this week's skies....the first a sunset from our kitchen window and the rest from Sunday's jaunt down the A9.

Sunrise over a misty Lochindorb.

An eye in the sky....is this LA?

Could almost be Tellytubby Land, if the sheep were giant rabbits!

To see more beautiful skies from all over the world visit SkyWatch Friday

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is our 193rd post which means a week from today, Friday May 1st will be our 200th! And on Tuesday 5th May Snoop will be 5 years old! To celebrate we are going to run a small prize draw. Anyone who comments on our 200th post between the time it goes on and the time Snoop's Birthday post goes on will be entered into the draw. We will schedule both posts so that they go on just after midnight (GMT), the first on Friday and the second the following Wednesday, but the comment MUST appear on the 200th post, which will be clearly entitled "Post #200". Comments will be numbered in the order that they appear and for the draw we'll use a random number picker. Obviously to play along you must be happy to let us have your postal address. We haven't decided yet what the prize will be, maybe it will be a brand new car, maybe some of Snoop's nail clippings....probably neither!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Our Kerry Blue buddies, theBuster, Ms. Persephone & Ms. Blue gave us this cool award, thank you so much! The twins, Sephie & Buster are 6 years young today, so while you're over checking them out you get to wish them a Happy Barkday too, how cool is that?

We must link to the blog that gave us the award....dunnit!

We must list 7 things we love...ummm, how to choose just seven..?

We love going for long walks in forests and on beaches.

We love getting belly rubs and back scratches.

We love that we get more mail than our humans...unless you count the bills, hehe!

We love going for long journeys in the metal thingy with round feet.

We love snoozing in a sunbeam.

Shhhh....we LOVE chasing bunnies and deer and eating their poop.

And we love all the wonderful friends we've made through our blog....especially YOU!

Now we must list 7 blogs that we love, again with the seven??....ok, here goes....Noah for just being Noah....Ludo for being a master trickster....Ms. P and Cinza for being funny cats....Penny for being a sweetie....Hamish, cos we've met him and he's so coooool....Joe Stains for making our Mum so helpless with laughter that she's putty in our paws, hehe....and Jake & Fergi for explaining the difference between moose poop and goose poop...and they really are two special Wires :D

Ah those blue skies..... We had them too in Aberdeen earlier this week, but sadly not today. I shall have to rely on your blog to brighten my day.
Oh and thanks very much for nominating me for an award. But I can't accept because Gail has decreed that I'm big-headed enough as it is, and any awards would only make thinks worse. (I think she may be just a wee bit jealous. Maybe if she gets her PhD thingy, she'll change her mind..)
Cheers, H.

Skywatch is getting more and more exciting for me. I am only new and now I am exploring all avenues around the world. Your wonderful pictures are magnificent but the one that is most nearest to my heart is the picture of the sheep as big as rabbits in your Tubbyland. Great Scot! (sorry for removing. there was a horrible typo, very sorry).

We're catching up in reverse order! And so much to say! First - we LOVE your photographs. The sky ones. The dog ones. All of them. Your photographer is the BEST! Second - we LOVE how your combine some of your photographs into tiled images. How do you do that? THIRD - Congratulations on receiving the award - it is VERY well deserved. (It's old news, now, but like we said, we're catching up!) and FOURTH - thanks for sending the award our way. We'll do out best to live up to the recognition it brings.

Happy weekend! ARROO to you!
