Sunday Scenery & Weekly Winners

Some of this week's favourites, to play along with this meme visit Lotus.

The next photo should have appeared last Sunday but i've only just found it, it's an old Easter photo....I love how excited the boy is!

Play along with Tarheel Ramblings.

Findhorn

I should have edited the next, it's not a good photo of it but I think Eileen Donan is one of our prettiest castles, must go again and get better pictures!

The next few entries for Sunday Scenery are scans of old holiday snaps taken in Lanzarote.

This place is called Mirador del Rio, it's on the north of the island and as you can see, very high (and cold!)

The "Rio" is actually the sea between Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

The view from our Villa....

We went for an excursion to Fuerteventura and stopped off at an uninhabited island called Lobos which was very pretty. People were swimming in this bay but the water was freezing!

On the crossing we saw flying fish which were so cool.

A refreshing dip (even Gabbi!)

I am back! Hey, my Jeannie says, Feurteventura rocks! Apparently when I was in the kennels for a week, they visited! Their villa overlooked Lobos......

My J has asked whether you went via James Villas, because they were the holiday peeps they used.

Lanzarote was good too (apparently!) my J says the best cocktails she has ever "staggered" through, and they had sparklers in them too!

oh, my J says those Canary Isles photos brought back lots of lovely memories from a few years back.

Only memories I have is of the kennels..........
