True Colours: Lime

It's True Colours Thursday again! To play along visit our host Blue.

This week's theme is LIME and we found quite alot, which is our excuse for posting so late :o)

This is fresh sea lettuce....when it's in season Mum picks it up from the beach and puts it in our food!

This is the Green Lagoon on the south coast of Lanzarote. Our humans went there for Christmas & New Year just before Alfie arrived. It's the last holiday they had! (There is a holiday snap somewhere of them standing in front of the lake but "she" refuses to post it here so this one is courtesy of Wikipedia (search "El Golfo")

Next week's colour is RUST.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is about the only Beagle photo taken today, we are ALL on leads....ughh, the indignity of it all! Apparently we can't be trusted near picnic or BBQ areas.....can't imagine why....the tourists think we're cute? (Scottish schools are back in while England are still on their Easter hols)
At least there's no picture of a lime green beagle sick from eating picnic area leftovers.
Hmmmm, Dakota thinks that sea lettuce looks quite tasty, she is the lettuce pup here.
Yes, sadly we have to wear leads too, but we have to wear them ALL the time if we are outside of our yardL(
The scenery is magnificent again!
Oh those poor khanines on their leads...they look soooo sad!
I know their pain: I am Siberian, see my leash!
Kayls says they should think themselves lucky she has to be on a lead whenever she is out of the house :-(
Yep, we think the canine world is divided into two: those who can be trusted off leash -- and the rest of us!!!
My adorable Gabbi looks so lovable in that photo!!! And the contrast with the huge blocks behind them is very artistic!!!
Has Susan Boyle taken Scotland by storm the way she has the Internet?
Awwwww, Snoop, Gabbi, Rosie and Alfie had to have their leashes on...oooooh. We have to wear our leashes every day that we might go off our property. I have a very small fenced in back yard that I can run loose in but its not like a long run! You guys need to know just how lucky you are. Except for the sea lettuce part, of course.
Kisses,
Stella
So sad that you had to be on leash! I love to see you run free on the beach. Good job with all the nice lime things. Is sea lettuce better than regular lettuce? I always spit that out.
Your friend,
NIamh
I love your lime collection! The snake is cute :-)
Even with leads on, it's hard to control Cookie and Cinnamon near BBQ/picnic areas, because food can be everywhere as people don't bother to pick up food they've dropped!!
Hi Snoop, Alfie, Rosie, and Gabbi! Good job finding limes! Cool writing in the sand on your header! Just one thing - how come the food bowl in your lime collage is EMPTY?
See ya!
Interesting limes, any idea why the green lake is green?
Have picnics been raided or are you just being cautious? I'd like to think it was the former and, if there's a chance it could happen again, please let me know as I'd love to see it!
Great new header!
WHOA you guys look MAD........we spit out regular lettuce as well..( it is about the only thing we don't eat) so we might not like that sea lettuce either(unless it had italian dressing) Love A+A
That lime green lake was strange! Was is algae? You all look so sad on your leads. We can't imagine that you would really poach BBQ's. That's a job for an Airedale!! Dad & Mommy call me the poacher since I counter surf when they aren't looking.hehe.
You guys look adorable in the photo. I played with a young Beagle today at the dog park. He kept rolling over. funny.
Great job on the lime!
I'm on my lead all the time when we go out, but being on leads while there's a bbq going on? No fair!
I can't understand why we dogs are never allowed to eat other people's picnics. After all, our humans often complain about how much we cost - surely, they should be grateful for our initiative in finding free food!
