And the Winner is.....

We had an awesome response to our 200th post, thank you so much to everyone who came by to say something. There were 67 unique commenters and to choose the winner of the prize we used a number randomiser, sorry if the video is a little blurry!

So the winner is....the tenth comment, which was those fun-lovin, food-lovin Aires, Maggie & Mitch!

Congratulations and thanks for being our friends :D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There's a new contest over at Pointer Pandemonium!
Scottie and his girls Sophie & Hazel are running a contest to find the naughtiest pup in the world....well, the problem we're now having is which photo to send in! Click on the image to go straight to the contest :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So guess what these are?

They are the packages for the Red Snooter participants and our Rambo hosts! Yes, we know these were months ago but we have been very disorganised lately....Mum had them all ready to go but she wanted to make cards to put in with them, she even bought paint so we could put our pawtographs on them.....then, she absent-mindedly sealed all the packages before the cards went in! (She's a bit dippy sometimes.) So they sat for another week until she decided that they would just have to be sent without cards and hope that you all know who they're from! We took them to the PO today but we couldn't send them as their computer was down....tomorrow it's a half day so let's hope she's super-organised and gets there before it shuts....just wanted to let you know that we haven't forgotten!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today's grey and soggy walk at Roseisle....not many pics, it rained the whole time :o(
And tonight out of our kitchen window we saw a beautiful sunset (and it was still raining!)
We are curious to know if any of you live or holiday in or near Mount Dora in Florida....or know anyone who does? It is twin town to Forres which is where we live and we thought it would be interesting to see photos of it and compare the two towns. Forres is also twinned with another town in Europe....we'll have to double-check the sign but Vienenburg rings a bell....any Bloggers there?
Sorry Clive, we still haven't got round to playing your tag, we'll post it soon....and we're not doing any memes this week either, it's been busy around here and we still need to catch up.
Poor Rosie-Posie is still in season and housebound and Alfie has moved out and left sex-maniac-spoiled-noisy-brat-monster-dog in his place....we miss Alf....day 14 and counting!
Congrats on 200, congrats to Maggie and Mitch, and congrats to you, Mrs. D., for getting that knock-out rain and sunset photo. That in itself could be a contest winner.
Mount Dora is in Central Florida, north of Orlando (Disney World). It has mountains and lakes -- very different from our flat part of the state.
We've been close -- but never quite there. It's about four hours from where we live.
The attached link mentions your town on the left side bar.
Silly Snoop!
Mt Dora is about 20 minutes from us. Next time I am there I will have Mom take pictures, she will also look in her old photos to see if she has any.
Ummm Jake, Mountains????????
Hills maybe, not mountains. It does have a beaWootiful lake which we took our boat on a couple of years ago.
Poor Alfie and poor Rosie and poor Mom. How is my Snoop?????
When my parents used to visit my dad's mother and stepfather in McIntosh, Florida - sadly, they're both gone now - they used to see signs for Mt. Dora, but they never went there. It's in a very pretty part of the state - less crowded than South Florida. Nice post #202!
See ya!
JAZZ AND DIXIE said...
Happy Belated Birthday to Snoop. How cool that he and Dixie share the same B'day. Jazz will be 6 in a couple of weeks! Really like the sunset through the rainy window shots. Sorry we haven't been by much. I'm in the middle of writing reports and getting ready for parent teacher conferences. Only another month and I will be back to blogging much more regularly and checking in on our favourite scottish beagles.
Love the photos of a sunset. So gorgeous! It's been raining here too. But, we couldn't see a beautiful sunset like the one you saw. It seems we are having a wet and cold weekend. Not good for walks!
I love the sunset pics through the rain-soaked window - beautiful shots!
Don't have much blogging time here this week - puppies require a lot of time!!!
Hello my Rosie Posie and family!
I've missed you terribly. May attempt that cross-Atlantic swim today, if only to keep your randy brothers from bothering you. I even have my orange lifejacket ready to go.
It's sunny and warm here - perfect for a beach run with a nice new tennis ball. (I got 3 from a neighbor yesterday! Talk about Southern hospitality!) We did have a big scary thunderstorm the other night though and Mommy had gone out for dinner. So I did the smartest thing - went and slept in Granny's closet.
Lots of sandy kisses,
Your Petey
Nice to know somebody else's Mom is a bit of a hair-brain too. Now I know I'm not alone. I love the Rainy Sunset-your camera takes great sky pictures. Mom's always come out boring for some reason. She still tries, bless her heart.
We have had alot of rainy days here too but it makes for great mud holes to dip my paws in.
I would love to enter the naughty dog contest but it so rarely happens that I am naughty. Now if there is a downright BAD contest, I am so there!!
Woofs and bad slobbers,
Chester
Lucky dogs, Maggie and Mitch. Bet Alfie wishes he was a lucky!
Mom was giggling that your Mom is like hers - her excuse - too busy. Lame. And overused.
Have a wagging weekend, hope the weather brightens for you.
