Padlocked door at Burghead Well (see below)

We often see these strange but pretty stone arrangements on the beach. The one above was below the high tidemark so it will be interesting to see if it's still there next time we go to Findhorn. Just before I snapped the one below Doofus Maximus (Alfie) jumped all over it!

The collage pics were taken on Thursday.

Pictured are the lake with golf course beyond, Laburnun blossom and old caravan, all in the grounds of Cawdor Castle, Cawdor village church and graveyard and the Rodney Stone, situated at Brodie Castle.

Now some photos of the last couple of days....
We went back to Brodie on Friday only to discover....

So we went to the loch which is in the castle grounds and were treated to these guys....nono, little girl, give US your bread! Also, Mum read the castle info board....properly this time....and it seems they do allow dogs on leads within the grounds, yippee, we get to water the Royal bluebells!

Then we went to Findhorn Beach for some fun on the pillboxes and a spot of posing!
When we first turned up it was quite showery but the sun came out and it was lovely and warm!

Remember a similar photo from a while back? Well Mum thought she'd recreate it with the new camera and Alfie obliged by holding the pose for ages....seems Britain really does have talent!
Whaddya mean, "BZZZZZZ"?? (Alfie here: Not really, I was scanning the beach for Mason!)

Saturday.....

Oooh, this looks interesting!

Hmphh, shut!

Wait a minute though....

....no answer!

We'll try another day. We had an hour or so to kill so we drove out to here again, just because.

On the way we saw this fella....seems we're not the only ones who like to roll in poop....way to go Bully!

Awwww :D

Back in Burghead time for a quick walk on the beach, the tide was out and it was raining again so these are taken with the phone camera which is still great for silly action sets.

More posing!

Beagles with Blue sky Behind-Beautiful. Any ideas about who does the interesting shell art? Is it wrong of me to be jealous that you got to water the Royal Bluebells? Sorry-it's just always been a dream of mine. I will get over it-since I'm sure you did a superfine job of it.
I'm gonna go check out Petey's news whilest I have the time.

Woofs and watered slobbers,
Chester

You packed this one so full I can't comment on everything, but your collages are a favorite for a reason. I want to know who leaves behind these stone arrangements.
