We have lots to report...........from Rosie winning the "Best of the Rest" class at our club match to Alfie winning Best of Breed again at our local show but i'll post properly once i've had a chance to catch my breath............the silly Beagles had a 6 hour deer-chasing spree at Roseisle today and with the clocks going back and the dark nights upon us it was a stressful day...........not to mention the blizzard we had today while they were missing (it's only October!!?).
I finally got them all rounded up after having to climb a deer fence and drag Alfie over it by his collar....he was literally seconds behind a deer and I somehow managed to distract him......then going back to my car for my torch so I could go looking for Gabbi in the dark only to find her sleeping peacefully under the car! (after reporting her missing!)
I could have taken so many photos today, lots of close-ups of deer and the forest looks beatiful in the snow but somehow I wasn't in the right frame of mind for snapping wildlife! Here is a photo of Alfie once his lead was safely back on, his muzzle is very chapped......as are his delicates!

Back at last! That'll be the housework on the back burner then.
Might dust the hoover soon, it's been a while! No deerhunting today thank goodness :p
