Sunday Scenery, Weekly Winners and Hamish the Westie!

Hello peeples, it's your friendly Alfie dog here with another action-packed post. "She" went a bit crazy with the snappy thing again. "She" took way too many photos. Again. And "She" isn't even sorry for putting them all on OUR blog. But we are. I mean, most of them are not even of us. Or me! Personally I think I might break free and start my own Alfie blog....I just need to find a secretary. And a photographer. Send your applications along with a full CV to my pee-mail.

So this week we'll begin with Sunday Scenery, hosted by Tarheel Ramblings, if you want to play, visit his blog to use Mr Linky.

Pluscarden Abbey, Pluscarden near Elgin. You might have read about this place on Petey's blog, it's very special to his Mom and Granny.

Ding-dong.....you might not be able to hear the bells because of the wind.

On the way home from Pluscarden the views are stunning, enlarge the pictures for detail, you can make out RAF Kinloss in some of them, complete with the grounded Nimrods, as well as Findhorn. It was very windy and you can see the dust blowing off the fields in the first shot.

Roseisle Beach, first West towards Findhorn....second, to the East and Burghead, taken one straight after another, love how different the sky is either way.

++++++++++++++

Next it's Weekly Winners, a few of the week's favourite shots. To play this meme visit Sarcastic Mom

He's Mummy's Boy....I can deal with a little eye goop!

Speed demon

Ludo left a funny comment that with their bums in the air it looked like they were being abducted by aliens!

Rosie-Posie's is my favourite reflection.

I love how little Miss Toffee Nose looks against the blue sky, this isn't edited...it really was that blue!

................................................

Today was very exciting....we went for a walk with someone we have met through blogging!

This is Hamish! He and his human Gail came to Roseisle for a walk with us, it was so lovely to meet them both!

Yippee, a lovely new friend....isn't he cute?

"She who takes too many photos" didn't get nearly as many as she would have liked, apparently she had to keep an eye on us "hooligans" and make sure we were behaving ourselves! I ask you! Naughty? Bossy? Noisy? Us?? Never!

Gail got a few really good ones which i'm sure she'll post when she has time....while Mum dangled the treats, Hamish did a little jig for us....limbering up for his role in Beagadoon no doubt!

Too cool to meet a blog friend! Not many here in Hawaii. The scenery is beautiful as usual - you had BLUE skies?! Ours was grey with rain! Go figure! ha

How lucky you are to meet that sweet little rascal, Hamish! He has been sort of after Gail to take him somewhere he could use his Passport, but I'll bet the ride to you guys was quite exciting enough!

What a wonderful day! We love seeing photos of Pluscarden and it makes us feel all cozy to share it with you. Mighty jealous of Hamish, getting to meet my Rosie Posie. And he's such a fine looking terrier, he may turn her head.

Tonight, I met Sophie Brador's Mommy! She's a real sweetheart and kept saying she wanted to take me home to Sophie because we both love to play with tennis balls so much (and because I'm just so darn cute!) But no, my Rosie lies over the ocean, my Rosie lies over the sea, oh bring back my Rosie to me!

Your Petey

OMG. Not sure which is best. The Westie (we see them every once in awhile around here) or the great Beagle shots. I love the butts in the air and the speed demon!

I reckon it's time for "She" to start a human blog so that Alfie and gang can have a blog totally devoted beagles and beagles only! Having said that mama & I think that the photos are beauuutiful, even if most of them weren't of you, Alfie. Never mind...

You casnot really blame your mum for taking so many piccures when you live in such a pretty place. I thinks peoples must not have good memories cos they is always on about capturing moments and stuffs.

Good choices for the favoutite shots this week.

Wow, you got to meet a DWB-er! How cool!!

"Sigh" Ain't Scotland just the most beautiful place in the whole wide world?!

My Jeannie visited Elgin once, and she said it was very pretty, long before she owned me, she owned two ankle biters at the time.

We have visited Hamish's blog before, must go over again and say hello.

My Human Bruv, (I have two H.bruvs, and a H.Sissy) used to live where Hamish lived.

I still think your Secretary or She Who Takes Lovely Photos, should get a contract to work for the Scottish Tourist Board!

love and Scottish Tartan Licks,

My guys are so jealous that you get to walk on the beach so often. Of course, mine would be bobbing around in the water.

Pluscarden looks lovely. I'm betting Petey and his Mom went wild when they saw them.

How pawsome you got to meet with Hamish. He's a handsome boy. Lucky you both spoke the same language. Did you share a a little rabbit poopie present with him?? He,heee!! I know!! I'm partial too it. So very kind of them to make it the same shape and size as the kibble Mom buys. So why's she get mad when I try and feed myself for free??

Oh, wow! I used to have a Westie friend named Rilla but she moved to Alabama. She was a sassy little thing; I really liked her!
I like the Speed Demon shot, the landscape right above the "weekly winners" logo, and the hanging branches in the lower left corner of the collage best.
Mom likes the first photo best. Gee, I wonder why? Alfie, my mom wants to know where to send her resume.
Play bows,
Zim

Mom loves church bells, but we don't have many here in AZ. She went to Europe on her honeymoon last fall and looooved all the bells!

Nik said...

AH!!! The one of him running at the birds reminds me of a walk my husband and I took last night with our two beagles, Wendell adn Vivian. Vivian started charging after rabbits in the dark and I had no idea what was going on!

These were fun! Thanks for sharing!
