More Shenanigans and Awards

We have been given a couple more awards! First up, our new Great Dane friend Kiko gave us this cute award. He lives in Portugal and according to Babelfish it translates to "Your blog deserves to be filmed" Wow, thanks so much Kiko!

There are rules:

1. Post it to the blog and link to who gave it to you.

2. Choose 5 life situations that could be repeated in slow motion and explain why.

3. List twelve blogs and let them know you've given them the award.

Hmmmm, well we've got number 1 ticked off, number 2 is tricky, we are Beagles....ummmm, what's slow motion?? Eating our dinner would be about the only thing we could list there....oh if only we could eat in slow motion! Oooh, maybe opening parcels too....that always happens too quickly! Number 3 is also tricky....we couldn't possibly choose just twelve blogs and it would take forever to do the links so we'll just say that if you don't already have this award then feel free to help yourself!

Next is the International Bloggers Community which was given to us by our sweet Beagle friend Kess who lives in Malaysia, thanks Kess!

We had already received this from Sue so we'll just link back to that post.

We now officially declare this blog an award free zone! We don't want to be party poopers and it's lovely to be appreciated but we just can't keep up with all these awards and tags anymore....each one seems to have more and more rules attached and we're not managing to post or comment as much as usual....so thanks to all those who have given us an award in the past....but from now on, no thanks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have been on some cool walks....we went to Nairn to walk by the river and saw a cool bird which we barked at and he flew away.
We haven't had much nice weather the last few days so not many photos (we even had a big thunder storm!) but yesterday when we went to Roseisle it was lovely and sunny. Us girls even got off our leads for a while....it was a riot, look at our long tongues!
If you are of a sensitive disposition you might want to give tomorrow's Wordless post a miss....we're just sayin'....
We hear ya about the awards! The best award of all is when a friend just stops by to see your blog...nothing else is needed in our book. :) Looks like a fun time at the beach. :) A Peacock butterfly huh....I bet they are beautiful!
Kisses,
Nala
Yes, I agree - the awards get a bit hard to keep up with...especially when it's one that you've been given already...oooh, it all gets very muddled!
I also agree with Nala that the best award is when your friends leave a comment, so you know that they have stopped by for a visit!
But I have to say that perhaps we are lucky doggies who already have many blog friends and awards - I tihnk it is still nice for the new blogging doggies out there who may not have so many awards or friends yet!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
No more awards, Ok. How are you for comments? Comments still OK?
I love to see those gorgeous Beagles all lined up in a row, so pretty.
Stella
It looks like it was a perfect day for a walk. We've been having a lot of storms, too, but today we got a chance to go to the lake so some of us could swim.
Hi, our Beagle pals!! It seems you were lucky enough to have great walks in an unkind weather of the last few days in your region. Thank you for sharing great photos again!
Although we haven't got many awards yet, I find it hard to satisfy the rules, especially the required number of people to pass those awards to. A good part of the awards is that it gives us an opportunity to meet new friends, but I think we can expand our friendship just by introducing our friends to others through comments and blog lists.
Love the photos - we love the beach too - but Paddy just runs! Usually away from us and towards John O'Groats - it makes us all very nervous.
Rosie, are you sure you should be dashing about so, in your delicate condition? Your tummy still looks awfully flat, are you eating your six square meals a day? Don't let those boys play too roughly either.
Now as for slow motion - what could be more beautiful than to see you running towards me on the beach, with your velvety ears billowing behind you like sails? Now that's a movie I'd pay good money to see again and again.
Your loving hubbie,
Petey
Hi Beagle Buddies
Our mum is having to work full time this week (dont worry our dad is coming home at lunchtime instead!).
We are trying to do some blogs before work - first thing in the morning but our poor old mum was unable to read your blog this morning!!!
Oh it is no fun at all getting old.
Anyway we are with you with the Awards - in particular the ones with so many rules!!!
Having said that Congratulations!
Collages wonderful as ever our favourite today was the one with the four of you looking up at the camera woman!
Those expressions clearly show why we are related!
We see no sign of Rosie getting rounder but we trust she is still taking things easy.
We are now intrigued into what your Wordless picture is going to be!
If mum can focus first thing she will be able to see it!!!
If not she will return after tea time.
love and kisses
