At. Long. Last!!

Hi furries and peeps and welcome to our

.....AND.....we're back online at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To say that we're glad to say bye-bye to the library is the understatement of the century! But it has been useful....we've managed to post a couple of times, keep up with some blog friends on Facebook, look what our buddies over at the AO4 gave us....how cool is this?? It's our new Facebook profile!

....and even make a few new friends, pick up our peemail and read all your lovely comments....how lovely that we still got so many visits, and even gained a couple of new followers even though we were unable to return the compliment....thanks guys, we'll be round to see you soon :D :D

It's been months since we went offline, infact it was around the time that we discovered our Rosie wasn't in pup, back in June. Of course, since then we've had happier times.....Rosie and Petey had a beautiful wedding which was celebrated by all our blogging friends and they are now back from their Roman honeymoon.
Mamma Mia, they're even more loved-up now....photos to follow, watch this space....and Petey's blog! Rosie and her girls had a wild hen party and the damage was evident in the morning....

....and just look at the state of Alfie when he got home from Petey's stag weekend....oh deeery me!

Well, you all know what Mother is like with the camera....so we have squillions of photos to post....so many infact that we've had to condense them into -wait for it- collages! (you can biggify all of them if you want)

We've been to Findhorn for lovely evening romps along the beach.

Seen pretty skies.

More walkies, this time at the park....

Met up with some old friends....

We went to a different beach to see another friend. This is Mollie and she goes to our club, or at least, she did. Her human, Jodi is moving to Australia with her Mum, infact they left yesterday :o( and Mollie is going to stay with her Papa in Burghead....we hope we still see her and wish Jodi and her Mum the best of luck with their wonderful new life Down Under....miss you already Jodi!

It was SO COOL! We ran riot on the beach, up and down the dunes....Mollie played chase with us for a while but she prefers to be in the sea (brrr!) so we went exploring. You may know about Gabbi's fear of bridges.....well, the one to the beach at Lossiemouth is quite long, pretty high....and you can see the water through the wooden slats....so she did very well, don't you think?

We had some very strange winged visitors. First, a butterfly came into our house (you probably heard the human girls screaming) C'mere Mr Flutterby....we just want a little taste, you look....a bit tasty!

And then....look who's resting on top of our shed...a baby seagull is right outside, about 5ft away as we type....what a cheek!!! (tastes just like salty chicken. Fish and bird all rolled into one....what an efficient meal!)

We bark and howl at him but he still just sits there gawping at us!

Gabbi's "adventure" last week (see previous post) is still fresh in our minds but she's all better now, her pad is completely healed.....thanks so much for all your kind words :o)

Petey and Rosie gave Gabbi a present incase she ever pulls a stunt like that again....introducing....

....GABBI-CAM!

To celebrate her safe return Mum made us a liver and honey cake *yums* and she even let us lick the bowls and spoons *double yums* Alfie got his ears all crusty with cake dough, hehe!

*sigh* Is it ready yet????

While we waited we did the next best thing to eating....zzzzz....

Another walk and a roll in the sand at Findhorn....

...we saw moody skies, oilrigs and early blackberries.

And finally, on Sunday we went back to Duffus Castle....

.....still didn't see Tanner though....or Just Harry! But Alfie found a frisbee ring and teased us all with it....

....Rosie jumped in the moat, well it's more like a ditch. (top left in the collage)

And we did a spot of modelling for Mrs Snap-Happy....spot the world's biggest poser!

So that's us all up to date now....we've missed you all so much that we'll have to visit you all before posting again. Hopefully next week we'll pick up some of the memes and get back to more regular blogging.

Mono Maniacs, Pagan Rituals and Exciting News!

To join in with Mono Weekly or see other entries, visit here.

Padlocked door at Burghead Well (see below)

We often see these strange but pretty stone arrangements on the beach. The one above was below the high tidemark so it will be interesting to see if it's still there next time we go to Findhorn. Just before I snapped the one below Doofus Maximus (Alfie) jumped all over it!

The collage pics were taken on Thursday.

Pictured are the lake with golf course beyond, Laburnun blossom and old caravan, all in the grounds of Cawdor Castle, Cawdor village church and graveyard and the Rodney Stone, situated at Brodie Castle.

Now some photos of the last couple of days....
We went back to Brodie on Friday only to discover....

So we went to the loch which is in the castle grounds and were treated to these guys....nono, little girl, give US your bread! Also, Mum read the castle info board....properly this time....and it seems they do allow dogs on leads within the grounds, yippee, we get to water the Royal bluebells!

Then we went to Findhorn Beach for some fun on the pillboxes and a spot of posing!
When we first turned up it was quite showery but the sun came out and it was lovely and warm!

Remember a similar photo from a while back? Well Mum thought she'd recreate it with the new camera and Alfie obliged by holding the pose for ages....seems Britain really does have talent!
Whaddya mean, "BZZZZZZ"?? (Alfie here: Not really, I was scanning the beach for Mason!)

Saturday.....

Oooh, this looks interesting!

Hmphh, shut!

Wait a minute though....

....no answer!

We'll try another day. We had an hour or so to kill so we drove out to here again, just because.

On the way we saw this fella....seems we're not the only ones who like to roll in poop....way to go Bully!

Awwww :D

Back in Burghead time for a quick walk on the beach, the tide was out and it was raining again so these are taken with the phone camera which is still great for silly action sets.

More posing!

Watch out for some big huge exciting news in the next day or so....Petey has part one on his bloggy now!
