Weather Watch

This blog seems to be turning into more of a daily weather forecast, this was the temperature at 8.45 this morning!!!!!! We are near the coast so such low temperatures are not the norm, the road outside our house was like a skating rink!

This caused the following reactions when I appeared with leads and collars......

Rosie: Don't make eye contact Gabs, whatever you do!

Gabbi: Can't....help.....it!!

Alfie: Just humour her, she doesn't mean it!

........but she DID mean it!!

How could you??

First we met Chester (above) who had just started his walk, he was talking to Honey & Mac who were just finishing theirs.

Mum decided to do some training with us, two at a time, again we humoured her for a bit!

Then on the way back we went onto what was left of the beach (tide was in) and met Jana, Teasel, Louis, Brint, Keira, Sadie and Jasper....wow! So it was worth going after all! No photos, sorry....we came back up into the woods and Mum was so busy trying to concentrate on where we were she wouldn't take photos....we still managed to sneak off for a while though!

More old friends....

I like these walks when someone you know arrives at the same time.......today this happened when Alina came up the path right behind me with her dogs so we walked together. It's good because everyone has different routes they take around the forest and different ways onto and off the beach so it makes a nice change to the same old route!
Today I only had Rosie and Alfie with me....on-heat Gabbi is house-bound and Snoop indulged in a deerhunt yesterday and tired himself out so they both stayed home!
Alina's dogs are.....Honey, a ball-obsessed Spaniel and Mac is an old-aged-pensioner-West Highland White-stomach-on-legs, bless him, you never even know he's there, he just plods along minding his own.......until the grub comes out!

Honey strikes a pose.

Hurry up and throw the ball Mum!

Mac waits patiently for the promised treat.

Rosie has a new playmate.
Don't you think he'd suit a tartan cap?

It looks like a lovely day..........but it was freezing and very windy, at least it stayed dry!
