More Shenanigans and Awards

We have been given a couple more awards! First up, our new Great Dane friend Kiko gave us this cute award. He lives in Portugal and according to Babelfish it translates to "Your blog deserves to be filmed" Wow, thanks so much Kiko!

There are rules:

1. Post it to the blog and link to who gave it to you.

2. Choose 5 life situations that could be repeated in slow motion and explain why.

3. List twelve blogs and let them know you've given them the award.

Hmmmm, well we've got number 1 ticked off, number 2 is tricky, we are Beagles....ummmm, what's slow motion?? Eating our dinner would be about the only thing we could list there....oh if only we could eat in slow motion! Oooh, maybe opening parcels too....that always happens too quickly! Number 3 is also tricky....we couldn't possibly choose just twelve blogs and it would take forever to do the links so we'll just say that if you don't already have this award then feel free to help yourself!

Next is the International Bloggers Community which was given to us by our sweet Beagle friend Kess who lives in Malaysia, thanks Kess!

We had already received this from Sue so we'll just link back to that post.

We now officially declare this blog an award free zone! We don't want to be party poopers and it's lovely to be appreciated but we just can't keep up with all these awards and tags anymore....each one seems to have more and more rules attached and we're not managing to post or comment as much as usual....so thanks to all those who have given us an award in the past....but from now on, no thanks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have been on some cool walks....we went to Nairn to walk by the river and saw a cool bird which we barked at and he flew away.
We haven't had much nice weather the last few days so not many photos (we even had a big thunder storm!) but yesterday when we went to Roseisle it was lovely and sunny. Us girls even got off our leads for a while....it was a riot, look at our long tongues!
If you are of a sensitive disposition you might want to give tomorrow's Wordless post a miss....we're just sayin'....
Dogs on Thursday...and lots more!
Today's post for Dogs on Thursday is a collage extravaganza!
Firstly, this morning saw an extended episode on the grooming table as Mum tried out her latest instrument of torture....*sigh*....and worse, took pictures to humiliate us....*big sigh*
And after all that stress we had to perform surgery on Mr Fish who had opted for two procedures this time, fin removal and a nailbiting brain surgery, we did a grand job on him and hope he returns from the bin soon!
Next we went for a walk in Roseisle....
....and this afternoon we went to Burghead, the tide was way out but there were nice tidal pools to paddle in....
....we saw a big gross jellyfish, yuks!
The next are from the last few days....Forres....
....Roseisle....
....and Findhorn....
....Holy Oswald, look at all the bunnies!
A Rosie collage for YSweetie Petey Y
And a Gabbi one for Y Jakey baby Y
Welcome home Boyz....hope you had fun at camp!
We are also being featured on Dogs on Thursday this week. A few weeks ago Sue asked us to write a post introducing ourselves and showcasing our blog and it appears on DOT today, make sure you go over and check it out!
As well as contributing to Dogs on Thursday Sue has a lovely blog all about her wonderful pack of Portuguese Water Dogs, she has TEN of them!
She has recently tagged us with the International Bloggers Community, thanks Sue!
Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Copy the image, rules and questionnaire.
3. Post in your blog.
4. Answer the four questions.
5. Pick 7 friends to share with.
6. Come back to BLoGGiSTaiNFoCoRNeR and leave the URL of your post in order for your blog to be added to the master list.
7. Have fun.
Questions and answers:
1 The person who tagged you? Sue and her wonderful pack!
2. His or her site title and URL? The Portuguese Water Blog
3. Date you were tagged? May 14, 2009
4. Persons you tagged? Well, we thought we'd pick a blog friend from each continent but got a bit carried away....hey, what can we say, we're Beagles and must bend the rules at all times! So here goes:
Lorenza from Mexico
Suzuki from Australia
Carolina from Netherlands
Africa from....guess where!
Jewels from Canada
Jazz & Dixie from Japan
Lacie from USA
Hero who lives right in the middle of the Big Pee, in the beautiful Azores
Clive who lives across the Little Pee, still over the pee from us though ;D
No pressure....just play if you want to!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We haven't played True Colours for a couple of weeks, if you want to join in, visit our hostess Blue.

This week's colour is GREY....you may remember we mentioned these in a post the other day as our daft Mum had forgotten to put cards in them before sealing the packages. Well, it seems they're creating quite a stir in blogland this week. Some of them have been causing puzzlement when they reach their destinations.

They were small tokens of our appreciation to those who took part in our Red Snooters contest and our Easter Bunny Hunt. So if you've received a mysterious GREY package from Royal Mail and you didn't know who sent it, you know now!

For the last few days we've been having typical "four seasons in a day" Scottish weather, which among other things produces some impressively sullen GREY skies....but lots of pretty rainbows too!

Next week's colour is COBALT....bright blue!

We thought we'd play along with Dogs on Thursday! To join in or see other entries click on the button above :D

The last couple of days we've been enjoying some lovely weather and have been walking in Findhorn. The video is from Tuesday and the Beagle at the very end is our friend Minnie the Minx.

These photos were taken last night, we made it just in time for another lovely sunset :o) Just Alfie and Gabbi, Snoop was under the shed with his bone and wouldn't come out!

Rosie's season is over now so she'll be out on walks with us again....we've really missed her!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We got a lovely blog award from our new friends Stella and Rufus, thanks buddies!
We were going to post this tomorrow instead but a Dogs on Thursday post seemed like a good opportunity to introduce some new friends, maybe you haven't met them yet :o)
The rules are that we must link to the friend that gave us the award....done!
And give the award to up to 15 blogs we have recently discovered, so here goes....
Luna and Sole' (Sole' is Luna's new daughter)
Miss Kylie...and Pink Baby :o)
Post #200 !!
Wooohooo! It's our 200th post!
Let's take a moment to reflect....
We were encouraged to start our own blog by Sue of Gennasus way back in September and for that we blame thank her, but little did we realise when writing our first post what a huge addiction part of our lives it would become. Through a growing love of photography it has awakened a new appreciation for the beautiful area that we are lucky enough to live in.
But more than that, it has opened up a whole world -literally- of new friends....each and every one of you have made this hobby of ours far more enjoyable than we ever imagined it could be, and in so many different ways. We all learn so much from each other, help, teach, encourage, laugh with and cry for each other, we enjoy the relationships we are forming immensely. As well as writing our own blog and enjoying the comments and feedback, we love to read all our friends' blogs too....when our secretary is not slacking off....and read all your comments, after all, what would a blog be without comments? (We promise to do ours soon!)
You have all helped and encouraged us over the last 200 posts and we look forward to sharing the next 200 with you!
So, you can be sure you'll be seeing lots more of us lovely Beagles, whether at work....
....rest (can you spy the smug kitty? Grrr)....
....or play.... (you can biggify all the collages!)
...whatever the weather....
....whether in black and white....
....or showing our true colours!
We'll share with you our wonderful scenery....
....our glorious skies....
....the friends that we meet....some random, some regular....
....even some strange human behaviour!
Armed only with a lowly camera phone....for the time being....
(Any nice people at Canon want to donate to a great cause? Click here!)
....we'll share more photos and videos of us hunting as a pack....
....and let you watch in amazement as we catch our own food!
We hope to run more contests....
(For those of you who took part in Red Snooters or played host to Rambo, we haven't forgotten your parcels....we just had a minor glitch!)
....go on lots more hot dates with our sweethearts....
....sometimes chaperoned by one of our dear Aunties....
...and meet many more lovely friends. If you're reading this then it means you're cool, no two ways about it :D so please take this award as a token of our appreciation for your friendship. It was given to us a while back by some DOT* friends, HoneyDew and Sampson and we'd like you all to have it, no strings ;o)
* Dogs on Thursday, a meme we always intend to play but never seem to get round to which is silly as we post ourselves every day. The button is even in our sidebar....maybe this week we'll remember!)
April was a wonderful month for us, from Alfie winning his certificate (which arrived this week) to Rambo the globetrotting Easter Bunny,
....to Joey and Zeke becoming our 100th follower just the other day, to being nominated for the Awesome Blog Award by Cocoa and Barley....and winning!
Thanks to the Beans for nominating us and to everyone who voted for us at the Bone Zone, we are honoured, especially being up against such a worthy opponent....please Doo get well soon Scooby!!
But April has also been a very sad month for many....lots of dear friends passed away including Honey who lost her battle with cancer this week, and Petey's Granny Betti, who died suddenly last week and whose memorial service is taking place today. Please say a prayer for them, hold your loved ones close, keep your paws crossed for those who are sick and let's hope we can share some happier times ahead.
And to end on a happier note, May is kicking off with a wonderful event....Asta's wheelie sister Myrna is marrying her true love Gilbert in Salzburg this weekend and we're all invited, it promises to be a glittering affair....make sure you stop by Asta's blog to give the happy couple your best wishes and see us in all our finery! We're off to primp pwimp ourselves now :D
And the polls are now open for Mason Dixie's Wiggle Waggle Walking contest, she has lots of participants strutting their funky stuff, including us! Why not go over and see for yourself?
Don't forget to leave a comment on this post to go into the prize draw!
You have until 6th May, when Snoop's birthday post goes on just after midnight (GMT). We probably won't post again before then, we're going to have a few days off for the wedding and to do all our catching up and we'll post Clive's tag after that....see you soon!
