Post #201....Birthday Boy, Paw it Forward & Other Stuff

Hello furries and peeps!

We might not have been posting but we've had an action-packed few days....we've been to Roseisle....

....Findhorn....see the bunny?

Roseisle again....

....the Muiry Wood....we saw bluebells, not as nice as Eric's ones though....instead of nodding their shy heads to Spring, ours are wondering what happened to it today!

....Gabbi wants to be like Scottie and Chester....

This is a view from outside our training class, taken on Monday evening.

And today is Snoop's birthday, he is five...though by the time this is posted it will be tomorrow!

It was drizzling all day but we went on one of Snoop's favourite walks, around Sanquhar Loch with plenty to sniff! We met our old friends Harvey and Chloe and walked with them for a bit.

And we saw fuzzy baby ducks, so cute!

We did all this and still managed to attend Myrna & Gilbert's wedding in Salzburg where we met up with our sweethearts, don't we look grand? And just look at Aunties Martha and Bailey, who knew they had such long slender legs!

Snoop and Kira must have been....err....busy! We all had a wonderful time and would like to thank Asta for all her hard work....as well as being Myrna's bridesmaid she was wedding photographer AND helped with some of our outfits....thank you Asta! We also wish Myrna & Gilbert a wheelie long and happy life together and await the clatter of tiny wheels :D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We played Paw it Forward with Rosie-Marie and our parcel came!
All beautifully wrapped in pink spotty tissue paper :D
Rosie's humans have just come back from their holiday and they included some souvenirs for our Mum from the Dominican Republic....a cute coin purse and a foot fridge magnet with sand in the toes!
A cool squeaky toy and some eatables for us, including some delicious Max-A-Million treats from Honey's Bakery....they were so good we had to stop Liam from eating them!
....and a cool bandana for each of us so we can be the height of doggy fashion!
What a generous parcel Rosie, thank you so much!
Here we are sampling our treats.....mmmmmmm!
So who want to play Paw it Forward with us? If you're one of the first three to comment and you want to play then email us your address!
Here are the rules. "The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and 'paw it forward' in their own way. This is how it works... We are going to agree to send something fun, inspiring or uplifting to the first 3 blog owners who post a comment on this entry. In turn you will then post about this on your blog, link to us, then send something to the first three people who sign up to play along through your blog. There are no cost restraints, BUT don't go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile. Maybe something unique from where you live? And, remember that kindness don't have to involve money; there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go - just look around." SO PAW IT FORWARD...
We are putting our shades on for Clive! To find out why just visit Clive's blog, a button will also be put in our sidebar :D
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some silly sets of four....you can just see Alfie's tail in this first set of Snoop.

Alfie is exactly in time with the camera...the same position in each photo.

Daphne and Pruett have a new contest for May, it's called "Show us some tongue", looks like good fun....maybe you have a great tongue shot? We're sure we have a few, why not check it out!

And finally....Snoop's birthday cake....liver and garlic with cream cheese icing....and he shared it with us....mmmm!

(Snoop isn't really into toys, it's all about the food! He also got some chocolate covered bones and ravioli treats.)

We'll do the #200 prize drawing tomorrow, (we have now disabled comments on that post) and we still have Clive's tag to do...we're beginning to wish we hadn't taken our wee holiday....we got caught up by doing all our visits but you've probably all posted again....and we have so much to post ourselves :o)

Thank you all for your sweet comments on our #200 and good luck in the draw!

Mono Maniacs and Friends

Wanna play? Pop over to Aileni's blog to join in the Mono fun!

You were HOW old??

We went to the Muiry and met lots of dogs....there were actually three Labs, a Dalmatian and a Spaniel here but I hardly got a decent shot as they were all zooming!

Then we went to the big field for some more Hot Laps (it's what Nala calls the zoomies)...

....and some mole huntin and stick chewin! We met our buddy Chester on the park, he's an English Pointer and luurves Gabbi! We were joined by a little Border Terrier and a Westie, it was FUN!

Camera Critters, A Sunny Walk and A New Award

Not a great shot of this week's Camera Critter but we thought she was cute. On our walk yesterday we noticed this little kitty tucked up all cosy in a pile of leaves under the hedge. On the way back from our walk she was still there so we decided to investigate, see if we could get a sniff.......she woke up......and hissed at us! Mum had thought she was a kitten but when she woke up it looked like she had cataracts, aww! We're saying she cos she was so little!

....further along the hedgerow and into the field, yippee!

The turbines you see are the ones I wrote about before, the bases are painted, you can see them here.

It was such a clear, sunny day that you could pick out individual trees in the Culbin, see right over Findhorn Bay and beyond to Cromarty. Once again I wished I had a better camera but still ended up taking too many photos!

We have been given another award, this time from our new friend Nessa, she lives in Slovenia and has just started a blog about her and her friends, they have lovely photos and a cute cat, you should check them out :o) Thanks Nessa!

It's lovely to be chosen for an award but I always find picking a few blogs to pass awards onto really difficult (last time I was supposed to pick 8 and had to stop myself at 20!) so i've decided i'm not doing it anymore, it's so hard when you love all the blogs you read so I nominate ALL the blogs in my blog lists and if you want the award, please help yourself!

Of Haybales and Full Moons

Some photos from this afternoon's walk....we walked through the Park and up to the Muiry so they could run on the field.

This Horse Chestnut tree is one of my favourites, when the sun hits it like this it looks lovely, in the Summer it provides shade for picnicers and Mums to watch over their kids in the playpark, in the Autumn it drops enough conkers to keep all the kids in Forres happy (even though they're not allowed to play conkers at school anymore!), provides the dogs with somewhere to leave their mark and waste a good 10 minutes sniffing the base of it's huge trunk, it's also a favourite for climbing!

Onto the field and the zoomies take over....

The Beagles help with Skywatch Friday!
