Updates....

Just filling you all in on what's been going on in the last couple of weeks since i've been offline.......

Seems like a long time ago now but on 18th October Spey Valley DTC (where we go for our Good Citizen training) invited Banff, Moray & Nairn CC (where we go to learn ringcraft) to a show match. Dogs entered are drawn to play each other in pairs, the best from each pair going through to the next round until there are only a couple of dogs left. Best of the Rest is chosen by the judge from all dogs knocked out in the first round........and Rosie won it! (so by my twisted way of thinking she was only beaten by one dog, ha!)

Rosie....Best of the Rest

Last Saturday Banff, Moray and Nairn held their open show, the girls each got a 3rd place in their respective classes and Alfie won his class and then Best of Breed. I spent the day stewarding so didn't manage much in the way of photography but some Beagle friends did, so thanks to Blanche and Allan for sending me them!

Alfie gets a going over by the judge.

Thanks to judge Geoff Clark for thinking so highly of Alfie and awarding him BOB. Thanks also to Les Chambers and his wife Ann.....I was stewarding for Les in the Utility ring on Saturday, it was only my second time stewarding and I was assisted by Marie who had never done it before. Les and Ann were very patient and so helpful to us both and made the job an enjoyable one.

I don't think i've had a minute's peace since the kids went back to school......on Monday Rosie and Gabbi rolled in poo and both had to be scrubbed, we were walking with a lovely Italian Spinone called Barney, he's so cute and I wish I had a photo of him to post, but on Monday he was eating the poo!....

.....Yesterday was deerhunting Tuesday, we did start off the walk with my friend April and her English Pointer Chester, I don't have a photo of him either but he's like a giant Gabbi, he's red & white and their markings are very similar, we think they're in love!.....

.....And today we walked with more friends, Chris, her Collie X Zac and her Leonberger Koda who is MASSIVE and so cute!

Zac waits for a stick

Koda moseys over for more liver cake....get baking Mum!

This afternoon i've been busy updating the club blog as there was alot of catching up to do..........I wonder what tomorrow has in store for us.............there's never a dull moment but no more shenanigans please dogs!
