The Big Thaw

Hope you all had a Happy New Year and a good 1st Jan!

We didn't have much of a walk today....well we did but it was dark, so i'm just going to post the last of the frosty photos, taken yesterday at Findhorn. The pictures I posted yesterday after the video are of the beautiful sunset over Findhorn Bay, thought it appropriate to put the last sunset of 2008 on! The photographers were out in force again so look out for similar pictures on postcards & calendars this year! The spider's web has finally collapsed under the weight, it's the same one as the first one I posted 4 days ago, just wanted to see how long it would last.

After a freezing few days the temperature managed to get above zero last night, by the time we went down the High Street for the bells it was very mild and all the frost was gone! I took a video of the crowd at the bells but Blogger is still not letting me upload any, so now i'm sulking!

Anyone else having similar problems or know of a solution? Email me!

(Pleeeeease, Blogger support are not responding, I know I know, it's New Year!)

A chase across the golf course

That tree that was in the front room has gone!! Until next year, manic-looking fairy, bye-bye tinkly angels with glass reindeer friend....so long fleecy gingerbread dude!

Alfie was being very cuddly last night, think he knew his Dad wasn't feeling well....(ignore Dad's dirty work jeans!)

This morning....and it STILL hasn't snowed....WOW!!

See where the fog ends and the sky begins!

Later on we met up with Lynne and Willie with Benny-boy, Black Ben and Soelta, we went to the Muiry Wood but ended up on the deserted golf course, we had the place to ourselves and had so much fun chasing each other, playing bitey-face and wrestling! Mum took some videos of Black Ben "being the rabbit" but silly Blogger won't let us upload them :o( she says she'll keep trying.
Sorry for the tons of photos folks, I got a bit snap-happy today, everything is just so pretty here though! Click on the photos for more detail, the 5th from the bottom is so cool!

It was minus 6 so Mum wore her furry snow boots, she later got some funny looks in Tesco!
